Heath & my new boots from Cowboy Cool in Dallas, TX

It’s not often that you see people wearing boots in Honolulu.  Okay, except for Japanese tourists.  However, after a recent trip to Dallas, TX you might see me roaming our island in my new cowboy boots.  Yes, that’s right, I managed to round-up some new cowboy boots at a boutique in uptown Dallas’ West Village – Cowboy Cool.  This boutique has some of the coolest cowboy boots for urban cowgirls (and cowboys).  When owner Heath Calhoun said his boots were like slippers to him, I smiled huge.  Could cowboy boots seriously be as relaxed as a pair of “rubbah slippahs”?  Regardless, if you are ever in Dallas, please say “aloha” to Heath and his team.  They radiate Texas charm and are super knowledgeable and helpful!  I’m planning to pair my new boots with my paniolo shirtdress!  Mahalo Heath!
