Historical Photo Shoot

Aloha Tower opened at Pier 9 of Honolulu Harbor on September 11, 1926 and has served as a light house and welcoming landmark for arriving ships ever since. On March 12, 2011, special occasion dresses designed by UMEE Honolulu were photographed at the historic Aloha Tower.

Okay, so maybe we aren’t such a significant part of Aloha Tower’s history, but they certainly are an important part of ours. When we arrived in the afternoon, the cruise ships were in and as the evening approached, tour bus after tour bus full of cheerful tourists arrived for their sunset cruises. Being there for our 4 hour shoot, we were able to experience why Aloha Tower was and continues to be the symbol of Hawaii’s Aloha Spirit.

Check out some of the fun images we captured…

Mahalo to Aloha Tower for sharing their Aloha Spirit with us!

from Hawaii with love,
